Wow this is such a cool illusion.
The trouble is substituting the gimmick key holder for the real one.

The illusion:
You have a fine piece of wood with a key hanging from a chain through it.
The hole is in the center and you can pull the chain through.
Then you do your magic and the hole is at the end of the wood key holder.
Amazing.

The Problem:
If you want to show the audience the key holder you have to ditch the gimmicked on for an identical one with only a hole at one end.

Help!
Any ideas on how to make this switch?
I'm using it in close up magic.
