recently i performed for a very small group and I just hated the performance. I wanted to leave, I wanted to throw away my deck of cards and start anew. What did I do? Put my cards away and worked on coins. I took my mind off it.

It happens man - and the more you perform the more it will happen.

The bad part of doing it for a living is- you get tired, you might not feel good- you dog might have dies or what ever. To me we are here to entertain... I did a show the weekend after 9-11 and it was one of my hardest shows. I had maybe 20 people at the show and I took the stage and talked a little about what had happen and told them this is your chance to almost forget that for a few minutes and I did the show. After the show I had a young guy walk up to me - he was leaving for the service the Monday after the show~ he said he would remember me for the show and the good time. He sent me a letter when he got back home and he said he did rememberme and told people about the show. So even the day I did not want to do one show - I did and it made a moment I will always remember.

Yes I also get tired of working on tricks, I just set them aside because I always come back to em...

that's awesome.

I tend to get tired of it alot. but not because of the magic. For me it's the audience. Although there are some tricks I get tired of performing. Like the Mystic Chips right now. I'm one of the few who actually perform it and everyone points to me. I'm like "My routine is too boring for me to do this 5 times a day at least. Find another cool trick for me to show." But alas It's a job, and so I still have to do it. But often I can convince someone to see something else. Like today instead of mystic chips I've been doing a chick pan wiht a bagel suprise inside. So they grab the bagel and poof a roach climbs out of the pan. They're too flipped out to figure out the trick. hehehe >D

When I messup a trick. I get pissed because I can't believe that i messed it up. I have to to another right away to redeam myself. that usually works. I also hate hecklers.

You know what's frusterating? While working on my latest video "Master of Puppets" The puppet I was using kept losing his arm! i don't know how many times I had to reattach his arm before we finally got it to stay long enough to film.

Those darn puppets! They'll do that to you every chance they get!
