those in my personal opinion are the best for cards oz pearlman has a dvd called born to perform he'll teach you how to do the bittle trick, i think two card monte, here and there, ambitous card, and many other basics the dvd is good and you will learn a lot of stuff and to tell you the truth you dont really need to know how to do the pass like night said its just a move to use in your routine there are plenty of other substitutes so you dont have to use it i just like it a lot because it makes me feel like i'm being more professional and sneaky and DO NOT use youtube its just a bunch of amateurs hurting the art exposing magic i'll admit yeah you will learn but you will learn the crappy amateur way

I was in Cleveland a couple weeks ago with my hypnosis show.
You have a great IMB ring there http://www.ring23.org/m it's called the Blackstone Ring There should be some magic shops also
check http://www.illusionsmagic.com/ or you got Mr Fun http://www.mrfuns.com/ I was in that one, they are in Cuyahoga Falls (by Akron if I remember right) I worked a comedy club there and stop'd into the shop for rope.

I'm in Toledo ohio myself...

i also live in a town with no magic shops around anywhere and ellusionist and penguin have helped but you really only need them as a starting base whats going to help you excel in magic is practice and performance get a group of friends or family (preferably family) and practice on them and dont let messing up get you down everyone messes up its a part of learning but once you become knowledgeable in magic you will learn that sometimes you dont need a video to teach you at a certain point you will just know how its done because you are experienced in the art of card manipulations
