I've heard that VH1 is making a magic competition/reality type series called Celebracadabra where a pro magician is teamed up with a celebrity. The goal is to see which magician (coach) can turn their student (celebrity) into the best magician.

I've heard names like Simon Lovell, Jen Adams, Rocco and others will be magic coaches and Jeff McBride will be a judge.

I beleive taping is already, or will soon be, taking place at the Magic Castle and the show is scheduled to air in Jan-Feb of 2008.

I don't watch TV much but I will make a point to check out at least one episode to see if I like it.  It would be interesting since Simon is a card master and Rocco is a sleeving expert.

ive read about this on the Fantasma forum. SEems a bit interesting but then again not really...I am up in the air with this one.

I have a feeling I'm gonna get a kick out of watching Simon Lovell the most. He is such a character. I just know he'll do something off the wall.

Yeah she was awful. Too bad Simon Lovell was paired up with her. I would have liked to see him stay on the show a little longer.

I've seen the first two episodes, and while there's a bit of good to it, it all reeks of being a runaway train about to get into a wreck

but at least on #2 they got rid of the a**hole

He does have Rocco but don't forget someone might wise up and switch coaches on him. Both Hal and C Thomas Howell decided to challenge Lisa and it kind of backfired on them. Let's see what Kimberly does with her super powers the next episode.
