I received my 1st edition T11 Bicycle Guardians on Friday. Here is my review.

The Box
The box is printed in black, white and shades of grey except for a splash of gold on the bottom flap where the Theory 11 logo is. Also, the box has more of a matte finish compared to the semi-glossy finish of regular bikes. Overall the box looks nice to me. However, the front of the box says rider back and these are not rider backs.

The Cards

The back
design has a subtle one-way design to it. Meaning it is not obvious without a close inspection. The main artwork of the design is a long haired angel standing up with his wings spread. He is holding a lance or spear as well as a shield. There is a white border framing the back design.

The front. Normal faces except for some differences in color. The reds and blues used on this deck are darker than normal bikes. Also, the  yellow on the face cards has been replaced with a grey color. I like this color scheme.

The Ace of Spades has angel wings in the shape of a spade. Although it does keep with the angel theme, I'm not to fond of this ace though.

The Jokers are the same angels from the back design. Both jokers are identical for those that do card tricks using identical jokers. I like these jokers they might just become my favorites.

Bonus Card. You get a double backer as a bonus card so if you do any card tricks with double backers this is a nice bonus.

The stock - These cards might have the same thickness as regular bikes but they have a more flimsy feel to them. Is that good or bad? I guess it depends on the individual.

The handling - I'm not going to say much about how these cards handle because I'm not very good at fanning cards so all I'll say is that these cards fan the same to me as any other deck.

maybe Ill pick up second edition or two depending on your review of Digital Dissolve and whether or not its worth getting.  I am up in the air on this.  I am not too fond on spending so much on one effect, but then again I am getting coins AND a dvd, so its a bargain?!
